Welcome to Mountain Vista Lodge, a cozy chalet nestled behind Dollywood in Sevierville. I’m Melinda, your host, and I’m excited to share this peaceful retreat with you. Our spacious property features stunning views, a fire pit, hot tub, and game room, making it a perfect getaway for families and friends. Enjoy the unique kid's bunk room and the relaxing sunroom where you can catch Dolly's fireworks show from home.

We’re conveniently located just 12 minutes from Dollywood and 18 minutes from Gatlinburg. The Old Mill District, only 8 minutes away, is ideal for moonshine tasting before taking a tram to explore Gatlinburg’s art district. You can even hear Dollywood’s steam engine from the property!

The lodge accommodates large groups with two master king suites, a queen room, another king room, and a bunkroom for kids. With 3.5 bathrooms, including full baths in each master suite, the lodge is designed for comfort and convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped with a crockpot, coffee maker, toaster, and more, making it easy to prepare meals for your group. The dining area seats 12, with additional space in the sunroom.

After a day of adventure, relax in the living room with a 70-inch Smart TV and fireplace or unwind in the hot tub. The outdoor area includes a fire pit and a gas grill for a fun evening in. High-speed internet is available throughout the house.

On the main level, you’ll find a sunroom, living room, fully stocked kitchen, dining room, half bath, and a game room with a 70-inch Smart TV. The master king suite on this floor also includes a full bathroom and Smart TV. Upstairs features another master suite with a full bathroom, the bunk room, a queen room, a king room, and a full bath.

As your host, I love sharing my favorite local spots and activities, from hidden hiking trails to the best burgers at GRAZE in Sevierville. I’m always available to answer any questions and provide personalized recommendations.

Guests have full access to the entire property, but please be mindful of local wildlife. We do have bear activity, so do not leave food in the car or sunroom, and please don’t feed the bears.

House rules include no parties, quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am, and children under 14 must be supervised in the hot tub. Check-out times must be followed, and all pets must be declared before arrival.

Just a short drive to Pigeon Forge and the parkway with Dollywood just 6 miles. Our property sits behind the ridge of Dollywood, and you can hear the old

steam engine. Park at Old Mill District for some moonshine tasting and then take the tram into Gatlinburg to explore downtown and the art district. Our property is perfect for active families looking for a place to return to for some relaxation.

Stayed with a pet

The house was plenty spacious for 12 people and 2 dogs during our 3 night stay! We had a hard time finding bedding for the pull-out sofa but Melinda was very responsive and helpful. The outdoor space was private and relaxing.

Group trip

I have stayed here a couple of times now and plan to return it is a wonderful house. The host is great to deal with and responds very quick to and questions or concerns i give it a 5 out of 5

Please be aware that we do have bear activity and the occasional snake or spiders. We share our mountains with wildlife.

Please DON'T FEED the bears or leave food in the car. Please don't leave food in the sunroom as passing bears may get curious and you could be held responsible for damages.
